Rear Brake calliper problem sticking

Featured Replies

My calliper seems to be stuck took it off and 1 of the sliders was jammed got it out greased it up and turned the calliper back . Thinking it was the stuck slider that was making the calliper stick . took it for a drive and the disc is red hot again . piston seems to be moving ok took a few turns but went back slider greased up but still have the same problem . hand break cable is off . Any tips

Tried some sand paper to clean it up with?

Sent from my GT-I9100. Not a Crapple!

I just cut my losses with my OSR one and just threw a new one on there with a new handbrake cable which was also a bit fubared. The difference was huge, to the point that I'm going to put a new one on the other side. For the fifty quid that they cost I can't be arsed with the hassle of trying to free one up - as soon as it's started seizing you're fighting a losing battle.
