I think like many Superb drivers, life doesn't get much better behind the wheel , especially if you have owned the 'premium' brands and are feeling pretty smug about your Skoda purchase in comparison.

I got to wondering what I could add to my Superb to take it to the next level. Bought Bruce Springsteen's Greatest Hits for a fiver in HMV and loaded the CD. Cruising the hills and dales with 'Born to Run' and 'Badlands' pumping out of my standard speaker setup is a joy. Stupid big beaming smile all the way. The bandana and pony tail with the suit may have been a bit OTT - but where I work I am the Boss...

Love this car - but have avoided any overt signs of affection so far...what makes your Superb special for you?

I feel the same and have done for the last 15 years but I do run diesels.

Being able to open small boot on twindoor remotely as you walk up to the care in the care park- says very clearly "Yes it is mine, and I am smug about it"

Realising that workmates have spent more on Focus or Astra than I did on my Superb, and I am getting better mpg than them
