I'm looking for a VRS diesel to replace my DD Impreza.

I found a possible up for sale at Junction 26 Prestige Trade Centre, Nottingham. Here's a link. For the record it's an black 06 with 65K miles up for £4995. The deal has sadly gone rather badly and I'm on the verge of getting out :wonder: . The full painful detail can be found here on a pistonheads forum.

I phoned for the 5th time in as many days yesterday, still with no reply. I just can't believe it.

The car looks like it has been serviced OK until the last owner gave up, so the oil service is now overdue by a couple of thousand, and the cambelt needs changing (£258 from my local indy garage).

To be quite frank I've had enough of the whole thing. There's just too many things wrong

If it doesnt feel right id walk away, same as others are saying. There are plenty available. The thing that would bother me is if they are so disorganised on basic fundamental filing such as v5 loss then what are they like with other things like vehicle checks etc.

Its alright thinkin well you can get a replacement but if its their business and they are so relaxed about it then it would worry me.

I trade cars as a part time hobby and i make sure the cars are checked before i sell them and even change parts if needed before i list them, i couldnt sell something i werent confident in using myself.

I've ditched the deal. They actually phoned today saying the car was ready for delivery, but just 5 minutes before had bought this one, a Sprint yellow 06 with 39K miles. Being delivered next Thursday
