I'm Andre and I bought a Skoda Fabia 1.4MPi Confort Estate a couple of months ago since Mrs was pregnant and my previous car was only 3 doors and the pram didnt fit the boot O.o After some shoping around found this motor that seemed to provide everything I needed for a bigger family and away I went. Very bumpy start, seeing that the alternator went in the first week, the NS anti-roll bar link was busted and the OS drivetrain was damaged. Luckily, was still on warranty and the dealer sorted it out. Still have some bits and bobs that need doing but overall nice car, although a bit heavy on petrol compared to my previous cars.

Hope I will get along with everyone here and, although I am a super n00b regarding cars, will try and help as much as I can.

PS: anyone else ever had a rattling noise coming from the pulleys near the alternator? That is the most pressing matter atm. Ty for any help in advance :p
