hi guys

when i start up my 02 vrs the engine temperature rises gradually and gets up to 90... lovely.

but when im driving motorway speeds 60 mph the temp begins to drop to around to around 70 - 75

and if i drive hard on high revs it goes back up to 90 but never over??

i got the temp sensor replaced a few months ago and everything appeared fine

is it the thermostat?? or have a been robbed buy a suposedly reputable mechanic?

any thoughts lads?

Ya was oe! Good best get it sorted so. Pain of a job to do?

99% sure it'll be the stat then. According to my mechanic it was pig to do as its hard to get to. Id farm it out to a competent mechanic and change the coolent at the same time m8 as air can get trapped quite easily
