Smooth green

Featured Replies

Much as it pains me to suggest,

Have you tried Halfords?

Or how about your nearest Motor Factors or Ironmonger/Hardwear store, agricultural supplier

& maybe 'Brake Caliper paint' if it is for 'Brake Calipers', rather than Hamerite

?What is it you are actually going to be using it on?

I've tried most of the above and it's a no no. :(

Going to be painting my brake calipes matey. Just want it to be as close to the original colour as I can :(

the smooth green isn't available anymore

only the dark green

another option is to go to a local paint place and get them to mix the colour for you

i think they take a device out to the car and it scans the colour you want and it tells them the paint code

Well that's **** :( what about the link above? Do you think it looks too light?

?

Confused.

Is the first Caliper Paint you link from Ebay,

not good enough because you do not like the Colour or are you unsure on the Quality?

Best go to a Local Motor Trade Paint supplier and get a Heat Resistant Paint mixed to your requirements.

Sorry man, I'm unsure of the quality and if it will look outa place being a tad bright

at the most you could ask the seller to send you a small sample, but you cant tell by looking at a photo

from reading here the smooth green was the closest green to the caliper green.

im sure some nice person who is local to you can let you use some, you dont need much at all to cover the calipers or touch up

I recently used this stuff http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/380392377875 and I am very happy with the result, I think I paid less than this though.

The shade is slightly lighter than standard but after you've done all 4 calipers no one would know it wasn't original colour.
