Afternoon every one.

As you can see I am JCL and I drive a Superb TDI 4x4 Combi. I have had it six months now and I have to say its a very nice car indeed. I'm sure most of you (with similar stereo's) have had the same bluetooth issues but other than that its been plain sailing. I was sent this way by another forum I am on as I have a couple of questions but hopefully I can be of some help to others on the site with my almost zero knowledge of thing Skoda / VAG.

Now its time to dig around and see how much I never knew about Skodas.

Thanks for the welcome.

I have spent more time looking through the Fabia section to be honest than the Superb. We are thinking for a 1.4tdi 09 for MrsJCL and I dont know much about them. As it happens its a UK car and the info on the free reg checker says its ok. I have yet to drive a diesel but the noise off it on start up was unreal. I have heard tractors that make less noise. I do get what peple are saying about giving it run at speed to keep things in check but its just for the daily drive 20km each way on motorway. Any one have any other pointers ?

I run a 2007 1.4 tdi.

They're fine.

12000 miles a year most commutes 15miles each way.

The noise is part of the character ;)
