Raging!

Stuck at glasgow prestwick airport with a flat batt!

Grrrr! 2 hours to aa comes!

Not a happy bunny

Get a 12v to 12v socket car battery charger.

Probably not as good as jump leads, but they're cleaner, and you're more likely to get someone who's willing to help you out if all they have to do is but something in their 12v socket.

Used one many times to pull me and others out of a hole.

I always carry a set of jump leads in the boot of my car (for jumping other cars, not mine!)

I thought airports car parks were set up for people with flat batteries and would normally help out? That said I am not a frequent user of airports, or their car parks.

Nightmare mate, sorry to hear it.

Do you know why you got the flat battery? (Lights left on!?).....

Ive put a 100 ah battery in mine 12v of course, truck spec, and i cant see me ever killing that one. Everything seems to work that bit brighter/better. Is your altenater ok? is the batt light off when running? If its ok you may have either bad batt or a drain somewhere

I definately have a drain on the batt! I have a brand spanking new bosch on it!

Alternator load wire is fine so its a bit of a needle

In a haystack, my brand new conti also had a nail in it! I have a jumpstarted but it got 'borrowed' and failed to return!

Home eventually at 5am! A 20 hour day :o
