looking to buy a rapid or estelle

Featured Replies

would realy like to buy one not as a project i dont have time but as a peice of history to treasure :) anyone seen any for sale? would prefer a rapid

If you want one right now, then you could import one from Cz but this would be costly and outstrip the value of the car considerably.

Or, keep the money in your back pocket and be ready to pounce! Most cars that come up for sale require some work or another but ready to roll cars are on the market from time to time. Expect to pay upto £1,500 for a good condition Estelle / Rapid.

Place to look is eBay and also the Owners Club magazine sometimes has cars for sale in it.

Couple of decent estelles on classic cars uk. Both 1350 to 2000

Also Alfa twink powered Rapid on eBay currently.

Try the Skoda Forum......it has links to pretty much every car that comes up for sale and some that only get advertised on the forum. It also has most of the rear engined enthusiasts on it and access to parts and knowledge that you won't get on here. www.skoda-forum.com

There is a semi project 130GL on there at the minute. Skodanorman why don't you come on anymore?

Well lets just say, I decided it wasn't the place for me.

There has been a bit of banter and bickering at times but its the only place for old Skodas and its really quite chilled at the minute......I guess its your loss/choice.

No doubt it is, after all beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

But thanks for the concern :)
