Opening windows via the remote Octavia FL Vrs

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me how to get the windows to go up/down using the remote buttons.

I've been playing around with the Maxi dot window settings but I can't fathom it out

Thanks.

Pre fl also does it, just hold the open button for a few seconds and all windows will open and then the lock bottom to close.

To do this on my FL Vrs I just hold down either the open door button for windows down, or door lock button for windows up.

Simples

called my local stealers, they said in Maxidot goto settings>conveiniance>window op> then there should be options there? Hope that helps?

There is All/Drivers. If i check the box All it don't work and if I check the box drivers it don't work either. once checked do you have to save the settings if so how??

I think he said to check ALL, then just exit and it should be saved.

Intresting this. It works if I stick the key into the lock on the drivers door but not by pressing the buttons.

It did work and I've been messing around with the Maxi dot. I've even gone to Factory settings and applies and it still don't work

Any more ideas Folks

sorry mate, stumped, I passed on what the guy told me, he was even sat in a vRS FL and in maxidot while on the phone!

Make sure the rain sensor closure is on if fitted and the ALL windows closure box is ticked.

Why no Hill Hold?

No Hill hold on the DSG Octavias Andy

Why?

Noking idea

I would try what has been said earlier, press the open button on the remote control and keep it pressed until the windows start to move. When you want them to stop then release the button. Same when shutting apart from you then press the close button. If you keep it pressed then the windows will keep moving until you release the button or they fully close.

Have you got the window security button pressed in the driver's door arm rest ? And I thought mine was the only yellow one about....

It should work as described, and you should also be able to lower or raise all four windows by holding down open or close respectively on the central locking button in the car. Do your one touch windows still work? Maybe you just need to reset them (close each one, release the switch and then press to close again - repeat for each window).

But why won't the total closure shut the damn sunroof as well!!?!?! Tsk!

Will not work if global has been disabled by your supplying dealer, Get someone to check with vagcom and see if the function has been disabled in 09 central electrics, If it has simply tick the box.

it does

Also, when I remove the key from the ignition Maxi Dot displays

" Check Safe Lock" " See owners Manual"

So does mine....blo&dy annoying.
