I am extending my search after no results in the thread "VCDS owner in Gatwick area".

I looked at the sticky of the VCDS owners happy to help others but having found a few in the area it was difficult to find them in the huge list of forum members amongst many similar pseudonyms, when I did I found that they hadnt posted for a couple of years.

I am leaving for England tomorrow and I really must resolve this problem during my stay, if any of you can help me no matter how far away I will be very pleased.

Or of you know of a member who would be able to help me then please let me know who they are.

Given the amount of VCDS owners who have registered on the sticky to aid others I would be surprised if there are none in such a dense area of population but I do see several unanswered threads before mine so if this does draws a blank can anyone tell me if a smaller garage perhaps a VW specialist is likelt to have VCDS or is it likely to be only main dealers and enthusiasts, its a problem to keep paying to have the fault code read and not reset not to mention driving without a CT because of the warning light.

Where are you entering the UK from?

I am near Folkestone (Channel Tunnel) about 20 mins from Dover and I am off work tomorrow, if that is any use to you?
