My renewal has just landed on the mat with a renewal quote from Admiral of £490 of my Fabia vRS Estate which is about £30 more than last year. I now have 6 years NCB so did expect it to be lower. Done the usual quotes with the compare sites and Elephant (who are owned by Admiral) come up with about the same price.

Is there anyone else I could try? The car is standard

have you tried any of the site sponsers? I use Churchill and their quote for this year was ~ £30 more than last years, even with the max NCB, I think that's just the way things are going :( I hate insurance, necessary evil, you give us a wedge on the off chance something happens.

Just tried Quido's comparison tool, cheapest quote £177 inc £20 cashback.

Worth trying if you've not done it before.
