Mk 3 Fabia?

Featured Replies

I have been reading the Reviews on the New MQB Platform A3's.

The Engines are sounding pretty poor for performance & aimed for Emissions and a bit more economy.

the 1.8 TFSI is showing the same BHP as the current vRS Fabia.

The 1.4 TFSI is coming with 121bhp with cylinder deactivation.

I will not be holding my breath on the Mk 111 vRS to be more powerful than the current one,

which makes me think if my current one was not perfect as they make the last models, i would go get the very latest Mk11 vRS i could regardless of it looking dated by then.

For me getting the right engine will be more important than how the outside looks.

The good running Mk11 might well become very desirable once they are no longer available to Order New at a Dealers.

It doesn't look like a mkIII to me, more a facelift of the current mkII ?

A bit polo from the front, looks a bit rover mgzr at the back.

Definitely Polo from the front, but the back just instantly reminded me of the Stilo:

That rear is effing hideous!

Least it dosnt look as boxy anymore

OMG. I thought it looked familiar! Not good.

And agreed with the engines. Surely there will be more than just 1.2 tsi & 1.2 tdi. Although these are cracking engines especially if paired with a 7 speed dsg they don't cater for everyone and often don't perform too well when used on long journeys at higher speeds etc.

Thought it would look nicer than that...a little disappointed...especially after the Stilo observation :(

That's just the photoshop that Auto Express published a few months back, I am taking those with a pinch of salt right now. The new model is sure to have a Rapid style front end though. It could otherwise look completely different to that. All that looks like to me is a photoshopped Seat Leon.

Don't forget that the new MQB platform is significantly lighter, so I'm not expecting the new model to put on any weight at all :)

I prefer the Mk2 as it has better looking lights and i better rear end.

+1. The smaller headlamps make it look like its squinting like Clint Eastwood.

Looks like they are going back to more angular shapes like the MK1 - could be a winner.

Quite like the rear lol

The front end looks very good not a fan of the rear end but it not a bad looking car
