Central remote locking

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Had a new remote locking fob today - old one died on me. I note now that when I enter the car and leave the key in ignition without starting engine that the central locking kicks in after about 10 seconds. Never had this happen before can it be disabled, if so how. I don't like the thought of doors locking like this in case I accidentally leave keys inside and shut door (for example in petrol station)

Seperate issue - the door open indicator randomly comes on - I think it is boot lid issue as I can make it go out by re-shutting boot. Any suggestions on how to correct it.

Thanks

Ron

i would say its the drivers door switch, if you unlock the car and dont open a door within 30 seconds it relocks. If your door switch is gone, you unlock it and it takes 20 secs for you to get to, and get into your car that leaves the 10 seconds you mention.

Does the interior light work with the drivers door? let it auto dim and off, then open the door see if it comes on
