Longer locking wheel studs

Featured Replies

I fitted some new 15mm spacers and new studs to clear my Brembo's yesterday, as the 2 x 5mm spacers I had on either side were causing wheel judder on acceleration. Only problem is my standard length locking wheel nuts will now not fit. Does anyone know of any locking wheel studs that would be longer as standard within the VAG range?

I think it would be wise to have all the bolts longer. And I'd also love to know about the spacer thing and where to get extra 10mm/15mm longer bolts from. :)

Wondering the same here.

You couldnt possbibly fit 15mm spacers with the std wheel bots, they wouldnt fit either as they are the ame length as the lockers.

You want a set of 45mm (ish) radial (if your still on std wheels) bolts. AmD can help with that.

I have fitted new longer wheel bolts, the problem being that I have no longer got lockers on the wheels as they were too short.

I wanted to know if anyone knows of any longer locking wheel studs that will fit from the VAG range.

devonutopia: The spacers and wheel bolts came from a company called A to Z in Stoke. They were made by a company called Delta Mic (they look German from the packaging). I don't know how much they were though tbh, as I did a deal on some products that he wanted from our company. But I seem to recall the plates being about

All VAG wheel bolts are the same length.

You will need a set of aftermarket ones.
