Brakes

Featured Replies

Hi

I have changed a brake caliper on front and discs and pads on all 4 corners but when braking it seams that pedal goes down to around half before it grabs to brake, when bleeding I did let the reservoir run dry at 1 stage will the abs pump need bleeding?

Cheers

If its got air in it then prob yeah, might be best with a pressure bleeder on it to force brake fluid through system

Hi

Yeah I pressure Bleeded the system but still have the spungy brakes, when pumped when stood still and engine off the pedal goes hard

you need to do the mc too, there are 2 bleed nipples underneath, need doing furthest away from mc first (nearest one to you) iirc.

+1, 2 on master cylinder, made same mistake myself, couldnt believe my stupidity when i found them! So by extention - no offence
