Hi guys

any one know how to check and top up transmission fluid on 1.4 16v 100bhp

any asisstance would help

I don't have an auto but have read the procedure in the Haynes manual. Seems to be quite complicated and requires the fluid to be at a specific temperature. You have to undo a cover on the bottom of the gearbox and top up from inside the engine bay until the fluid drips out underneath. I seems that the oil temperature is crucial.
