But seriosuly, 182 would fit, but you'd probably have to remove the arch liner or mod it a little, and probably roll the arches themselves too. And also you'd need 225/35 R18 tyres at biggest, so might be dreadfully uncormfortable, even compared to 205/40 R17. ...

But as a rule 18" might fit, 17s are the generally accepted biggest.

I have seen pics on briskoda of a furby vrs on 18s - was it the JBS project car?

Surely above 17" wheels on the fabia its going to start effecting acceleration - so whats the point?
