I'm 6foot2 and still need the seat at its highest setting so you'd need to be pretty tall to need to lower it.

well keeping in mind it is a Mk1 Octavia im about 5ft 5 last time i checked, and need the seat quite far forward and very high up. its good to be short when driving the MK1 Octy because if ure over 6 foot and need the seat right back there is very restricted legroom in the back

You guys must have some extreme leg/body ratios! I'm not quite 6ft and have to have the seat pretty low. The missus ratchets it right up when she drives so if I jump in straight after my legs are normally pinned under the steering wheel!

I'm 5'11 and have my seat as low as it will go, like to feel i'm down inside the car rather than sitting propped up on a bar stool... If my seat is up high I tend to bang my skull getting in and out...

i always like my legs to have plenty of reach to the pedals, im not one of those people who like to reach the pedals and just no more, i like to have enough room so if i fully depress the clutch i could still push down further. I always like the seat high i don't like sitting down low i feel there could be something there that i may not see.
