Evening all,

Just picked up a 1999 Felicia 1.6 SLXi yesterday but i've just realised the reverse lights don't work and neither do the front fogs. I've checked the fuses and the bulbs and they're fine so i'm a little stumped. Also when i select the front fogs when the lights are on, it doesn't show on the dash board like the rear fogs.

Also, the sunroof was stiff to open and now that i've done that it leaks. I think the seal has come away when i've tried to open it, could that be the case?

Front fogs: Could be relay:

http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/116804-fuse-box-layout/#entry1468871 has a picture of the fuse box, R2 does the front fogs, bottom row 2nd from left. The dash light seems to be driven from the switched side of the relay, so it's a fair indication the the relay isn't working. In the past I've found they can get stuck. Pull it out, thump it a couple of times and stick it back in. If not, it is proper broke.

Reverse lights: could easily be the switch. Haynes will be your friend on this. (not had to change one myself)

Sunroof: if it's leaking round the glass, a good clean should do the trick.

if it's anything like my old Clio, the roof seal will be shot. I fixed it by undoing all the bolts on the inside of the roof, raising it slightly and applying a large dose of "roof and gutter sealant" in the gap. Do up all the bolts, wipe off the excess carefuly with white spirit and then wax round the sunroof. The roof and gutter sealant never actually "goes off", nor shrinks, like the original. Never got wet in the Clio again.
