hi all has anyone had same symptoms as me what it is my car is jerking at low revs /gears and feels like its holding back when im moving quicker it seems fine its only when im crawling or doing about 20-40 mph had a vagcom diag on it but shows no faults at all plus no lights on in dash it has had the injectors replaced about a month ago plus the cambelt which had to be re done because the timing was out any ideas.

Tell me more about the cam belt issue. How did that come to light?

garage i had it from done the cambelt as it needed doing i then took the car to skoda directly after it was done for the injectors to be replaced skoda then told me the tensioner was loose so the garage had to pick the car back up from the dealers to get it sorted they then dropped the car back to the dealers who then did the replacement injectors and said that the belt was done properly this time i then had the car booked in with the dealers for a full service the following week during the time leading up to the service the car was pulling back and kangerooing as such i then told the dealers if he could re look at the injectors while it was being serviced to see if they was fitting correctly they said wanted to keep car overnight to look at it which they did when i went to get it the following day they said they had had the injectors back out and re checked and they was fine but they notice the timing was slightly out so they re set the timing for me free of charge but car still kangroos holds back when in low gears trouble is i dont know if its to do with injectors or cambelt timing or something different it has no problems showing on vagcom my prob is that the dealers will say its the timing and the garage will say its the injectors i am going to get my usual mechanic to take a look at it.

i have the same problem. I have changed the ignition switch and nothing. have also changed the R1 relay and it has maybe halved the amount of times this is happening. its going into Skoda tomorrow so if you pm me to remind me i will let you know how it goes.

i would change the R1 relay first though for 20 quid you could do worse.
