parrot ck3000 probs with the connection.

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am a bad english speaker from spain, but as far as we do not have skoda resources in spanish (on internet), I am looking here some help.

I succesfuly installed a ck3000 on a new octavia. (radio stream). The only problem is: when is stop the car and take off the key of the car, ck3000 keps turned on.

Does any one knows at what cable color I need to plug the orange cable (with the name ignition on it). Red and white ones are giving power to the parrot even when the car is stop.

Thanks for a morse code answer (it means easy english).

Thank's in advance.

Johnny

Well, I Am Once Again On The Same Problem. That Scheme Is Not Usefull For The Skoda.

Problem Is That 2 Electricity Cables Are Direct (orange) And Supply Electricity All Time.

My Question Is,..how Radio Stops When Hte Key Is Removed??

One of the feeds is a permanent +12V, the other one is switched and that gets turned off when you remove the key from the ignition. For the Parrot to work properly, as you've found, you've gotta have them the right way around.

I went to Skoda service and they said that I should put another wire pulled from fuse, because Skoda doesn't have ignition wire. Stream or audience is conntrolled over computer by some kind of pulse, so they have 2 live wires. Also if you want to connecet illumination or your new radio have dimmer function, you sholud do the similar thing. For example you could pull teh wire from the red button above your radio. So, when you turn on your lights, display on your radio dimms.

Hope that I've helped you!

Bye!

P.S. Sorry about my bad english.
