Fabia Buying advice

Featured Replies

Hello

I live in Spain and have been looking for a reliable car,

as my last one (a renault kangoo) was a complete lemon!!

I am trying to be ultra careful in my new purchase as cars are very expensive here compared to the UK,

I would say more than double!

I have seen a 2002 Fabia 1.4 16v described as a GT?? with 100,000 kms on it (about 70,000 miles)

looking on the net at reviews they sound reliable

Some reviews recommend that engine but what's the story with premature piston/bore wear?

that sounds scary! should it put me off viewing the car? how common is the problem?

is there any thing else I should be wary of?

any advice would be greatly received

Buy something other than a Fabia
