Can't find a source of info to confirm whether ESP or Curtain airbags standard on 07/08 1.9Tdi Ambiente or Elegance.

I think Cruise controls standard on Elegance, and rear parking sensors, but no info on above

Neither ESP nor curtain airbags were standard on Ambiente or Elegance. You get ASR (traction control) and that's your lot. On the plus side this means you get a Teves Mk70 ABS setup, instead of the failure prone Mk60 you get if you have ESP.

Curtain airbags are pretty uncommon on Octavias. Easiest way to see if it has them at a glance is fabric covered A-pillar trims instead of plastic covered.

These are standard on L&K's of that period
