Right today I lost power, would barely climb a small hill, The injecters sounded different too, while it was ticking over i looked at the fuel line and small bubbles were going through.

I have since got some power back and the engine sounds normal but when i pulled out the t-piece from the filter it seemed dry -ie the fuel filter wasnt full, this could be caused by the filter being blocked yes?

Turbo is fine, starts ok.

cant see the filter getting blocked myself as there is a strainer on the bottom of the pump. onl way it could be is if its never ever been changed.

might have a broken pump?

Now that I don't wanna here. However it has been run on veg oil for a couple months and some hefty millars mixes, may have caused sludgy build up?

vegetable oil will corode all rubber hoses.

Firs of all change the fuel filter,swich to regular diesel and add this cleaner.I used it before with great results

aftermarket maf's tend to break down the soon you slam them on... had a mate with a passat and 15 mins of NEW aftermarket maf operating time

I'll see how it goes, order vag one and when it comes return delphi as faulty

nothing wrong with delphi stuff OE on many makes
