I need a replacement door mirror for my VRs, are all fabia door mirrors the same? for example will an electric fabia door mirror from a lower trim level fit the VRS?

Also is there only one colour/shade of silver in the Fabia range?

As far as I'm aware no as I too need to replace a Wing mirror

I recall reading a thread somewhere saying the plugs are different on some of them, could be pure rubbish but just letting you know to check before you buy.

Plugs are different on some and also the motors are different aswell. Only one I could get that was the same was from a vrs

anyone got any blue wing mirror glass like the golfs?

Does anyone know if you can fit the electric motor/glass & cover onto the housing of any other fabia mirror?

My drivers mirror was kicked off, the motor, glass and painted cover are all still ok so would prefer to just buy the cheapest mirror I can find and transfer my parts into it, I just need this part:
