One of the exterior door trims on my Octavia has lost its adhesiveness and a couple of inches is loose. Anyone know what's best to stick it back on with? Cars still under warranty but the dealers won't wear this as a claim.

There are usually two types. For small trim strips it's usually on a roll. You can buy rolls of the stuff from auto paint factors. A local bodyshop may be able to help with a small strip. Id suspect it's this you need.

For larger body panels it can be a tube application product, which sometimes come pre coloured. VW used to use a product like this to bond on spoilers etc if being dealer fitted as against factory spec.

Bought some from eBay as the local place wanted £8.50 a roll and eBay was £4 for twice as much.
