HELP .. 0% VAT,

Featured Replies

hello

is this deal to good to be true ....

If you buy a new Octavia, you can pay 0% VAT*, get a £500 contribution towards your deposit† and 3 years of free servicing**

or would the dealer just give me £500 less for my car then say "you get £500 contribution" ....

No, thats just the latest Skoda Uk campaign since the beginning of the month. It'll only get better as the cars life is coming to an end. Mk3 Octy is in the wings for early next year I believe. :)

It is a good deal.

Sell your part exchange privately and remove this potential compication from the equation allowing you to then bargain even harder!

That's what I got. Check Parkers for the trade price for your car. That's all you are likely to get.

One of those magnetic screw grabbers? A bit like a car aerial with a magnet on the end. They do really thin ones for motorbikes.

I ordered a vRS last week and the £500 contribution is only if you take out their finance.

Yep, it's 3 years or 30,000 miles whichever comes first...

I have just done this deal on our new Octy. Got £250 more than book trade in on our old Megane too.

And they are still doing 0% finance. /sobs

you can take out the finance, get the £500 contribution and then pay off the finance with no penalty.

But does your free servicing lapse if you pay it off early ?

Guys, whats the current lead time on a new Octy?

I think this deal has just about sealed it for me to buy new and not second hand/nearly new.

I waited 11 weeks for a build from scratch. If one is in the system it will be a lot less.

7 to 8 weeks for me from order to delivery.

Wow, I've been quoted 6 to 8 months but that's ok with me (ish) as I need to save some more formy deposit.

Metblackrat you are not far from me, if you see a crazy man in an 02 silver golf gti waving it's me :)

Or just give me a wave.

Patiently waiting for my Race Blue vRS CR DSG Hatchback
