When i collected my Octy it came with the V3 map disk I do not have the full 7 digit postcode facility.

Been back to the dealers and they have been pretty rubbish on this issue tbh. They say i have the latest maps as Skoda would always send them the latest version.

All i want to know is how do i get the 7 digit postcode facility?

Is it:-

a) A new V4 disk?

Firmware update to the unit itself that enables 7 digit postcodes?

c) Combination of both?

V3 and V4 have both got 7 digit postcodes, just to make sure, I just tested both by selecting "single flag", then select " town in GB", then type in the postcode

My Amundsen is October 2011 and is software version of 0357

I will double check ours later as the wife is out in it at the moment. But i am pretty sure it is only 6 digit input for post codes. I will check the software version of the unit too.
