Aircon Compressor failed?

After doing 300 miles yesterday my car developed a squeak on idle...

Now on opening the bonnet everything on the LHS is covered in a metal swarf..

My diagnostic tactic was to spray each pulley on the AUX belt to see what it was and it appears its the aircon compressor..

Now is there any common/Known easy fixes before I order a New Compressor?

I imagine the pulley/Clutch/Compressor had failed? Or has something become loose? The pulley all seam to run true with no play in them?

I have had an ongoing problem for 2 years with my 2018 Kodiaq .2.0l TSI battery losing charge over a few days and the battery charging randomly at different charge rates. To date I have had: 2 replacement batteries (at my cost) then under Extended Warranty (now expired) 1 replacement negative battery lead (with sensor) 1 replacement alternator Symptoms (monitored with Ancel Battery Manager device and multimeter) Battery discharges in a few hours from 100% SoC /12.8v to around 65% then conti

Is the skoda scala slave cylinder concentric and located inside the gearbox for all models, or is it just the 1.5 engine which doesn't have it on the outside of hte gearbox? I'm seeing different reports about whether the gearbox needs to be removed to check or replace it on a 1.0 litre engine.
