Wheel/Tire Combination

Featured Replies

Hey,

I want to change the wheels and tires on my Fabia. The car is going to be between a Sunday drive and track toy. I can have wheels fitted from 14 to 17, but when it comes to tires, 15 is the ultimate size from what I have seen. The industry have a verity of slicks and simi-slicks. It is extremely popular. Moreover, there is a vast difference in price when jump up a size. Yet, I'm still worried about the high side wall! It is above 10cm :/

What do you think guys?

ive never seen a side wall of 100mm??

And the ao48 are crazy expensive! I would get falken (rt-615k), toyo (R series - Several choices), kumho (ecsta xs), or bridgestone (Potenza RE-11) for almost half the price. I find the falken to be a good deal. I have read about it a lot and the only downside is that it gets greasy after some time of very hard driving. Something is should not be very worried because the 1.4 v8 can't make more that 120BHP in NA form.
