Changing Brake lines

Featured Replies

No, I didn't learn anything new - it's a technique I've seen before. But not on brake pipes for obvious reasons.

I'm guessing my IQ is higher than yours. And my social abilities way more so.

Who says I'm angry? I'm not the tool who constantly says people shouldn't post on threads because I judge their contributions to be off topic.

As for the latter, I'm sure I get to do it a whole lot more than you do, again for obvious reasons.

well then, lick on, genius.

Shall I put the kettle on and get the ginger cake out again ?

Ken thanks for expanding your reply, I sort of see what you're saying now

Dj, I think the frequent visitors to our little Brisky corner know how to take Masster so don't let him wind you up, I know who I'd trust with my car

And as for you........I raised what I thought was a perfectly reasonable query, one to which everybody who replied did so in a kind and considerate manner. Now I'll admit cars aren't my thing but if somebody can't ask how are they to learn ?, I've said it before in a previous topic but the people on here are generous enough to share their knowledge and experience whether it's how to rebuild a gearbox / swap an engine / create some sort of Frankenstein ( :hi: Tom), or something silly like what the brakes are made of, just because it may seem trivial to you it doesn't make it trivial to everybody, we all have a different level of understanding but all the others take this into consideration, it's part of getting on with people, I'm not saying you shouldn't hold an opinion but it doesn't mean you have to air it.

I can only foresee one possible barrier to women becoming mechanics...

(Hopefully that injected a little non-too-sexist humour into the discussion.)
