If you are finding things a little tight behind the headunit try removing one of the side supports to the centre mount at the back. This will give you greater room to feed wiring down. Also removing the glovebox will allow you to feed the wiring in as you slot the unit back. Quick tip if you have air con be carefull removing the glovebox. There is a flexi pipe that runs from the top of the heater box to the glove box, this is for the air con feature. Carefully drop the glovebox down and disconnect it from the glovebox end, dont pull on it, if it comes out of the heater box ends its a right pain to get it back in again.

taking the glove box out is an excellent bit of advice, works wonders!!

also if the connector for the new stereo clashes with one of the small struts at the back cut the blighter out, doesn't really affect the strength but aids the stereo install no end

just got to get myself an AV switch setup in the car so i can use my sat-nav aswell as a reversing camera if i get one and maybe a digi-box too :D

i got this unit :)
