what are the correct octy tyre pressures in PSI?

Featured Replies

Got a 2011 1.4 TSI octy and I'm trying to figure out what the tyre pressures are supposed be. I've had a look at the feul cap cover where theres a data plate but it doesn't show the figures in PSI, just some other numbers. I'd like to get the pressures right so can anyone here enlighten me as to what these pressures are in PSI? The tyres in question are dunlop SP sport 01 and the sizes are 205/60/15/V rated.

Cheers

The figures shown are in bar (normal pressure measurement used in countries such as Germany), 1 bar equals approximately 14.5 psi.

Could also use one of the various internet conversion sites to convert your figures from bar to psi;

Hope of help,

If you ever need to do conversions, Google will do most units for you, just type "2.4 bar in psi", "$18 in £" or even "12000 oz in centilitres" (without the quotes of course).

Please see this link for an example: http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=2.2+bar+in+psi

Most pressure gauges should have a scale that reads in bar.
