Am I blind ?

Featured Replies

I have recently been considering getting a RARB and possibly front, but the thing is does the Fabia have a RARB ? i have had a look under my car while changing tyres and i could not see/find one on my car at the moment

No RARB as standard. Only one I found was Whiteline. Jabba say they do one but someone on here I think, says it hits the back box. I emailed Jabba about this and all they would say was one had been returned for this reason and if I ordered one and found it didn't fit I would be charged a restocking fee to return it. Not what I would call good customer service!

Whiteline one fits easily and does improve the handling. I'm still looking at better springs for further handling and astheitic improvements.

The Jabbasport bar will hit the standard backbox. I've got a Jabbasport bar and Miltek system and there's no banging at all. They are in the process of making a mk2 specific one.

So its looking like Whiteline are the only option for now, they are the only place I have found so far. Can you fit it yourself or is it better to get a garage it summat to fit it ?

For me personally the whiteline is no where near stiff enough but this is obiviously dependant on what else you've done to the handling.

They are very simple to install and should take no more than 30-45 minutes with a warm beverage break in between sides.

So far the car Is completely standard... This was my first thoughts as I am contemplating coilovers as they will cost a bit more.

Many have said that the Jabba is thicker and therefore stiffer than Whiteline. But as a no Jabba one fits a stock vRS then the Whiteline is currently the stiffer one.

Took me about 30mins all in with the aide of a set of ramps. Looked initially at jacking and axle stands but couldn't find guidance on where to put the stands.

As said I am still looking at different springs as well. Can't justify the additional expense of coilovers. I have seen somewhere saying that the stock dampers are good enough when combined with decent springs.

Well its either or for me with coilovers or springs,a nice drop of 20-30mm is all I'm after plus combined with an arb I should be happy... For a while and as long as it don't screw what's remaining of my warranty lol

B3aver, I actually thought your couldn't see when I read the title of your topic!! :giggle::hi:

lol now then driving would be really fun, or I just lost my glasses for a mo lol.

Dont think you will go wrong with a set of eibach springs on the stock dampers , they are Skoda approved and made a nice difference on my Evo .

Think I have seem quotes of 20mm from the Eibachs on the vRS. There is a thread somewhere showing lots of pics and figures from different options.

Thanks, that would prob be more than enough (for a while). If I remember Il search for the threads later on.
