hi all i was wondering today if i could replace the octavia gear know for something different like the golf gear knob?? just really dont like the shape of the octavias knob

I have been thinking of this. I know an Audi S-line knob fits so it's probably a standard fitment. You will find that the knob and gaitor cover come together but you will need to decouple as the base won't fit.

will this fit i like the look of it?

Fairly sure it would but you'll probably not know till you get it. You may want to see if you can ge cheaper from dealer part dept. Quite like that one.

That will fit fine, but you'll need too swap the gaiter over.

Well it arrived today so will follow your guide rob and see how I get on!! I hope I don't break anything!!

All done and took about 10 minutes looks miles better imo!!
