Why less for more?!?

Featured Replies

I've been considering the rear brake upgrade for a short while now and initially went back to the same seller on EBay that many of us have used and had good experiences with to price it up.

Now I paid £220 for freshly refurbished 312s with discs and pads from him about 4 months ago and his prices haven't changed, but despite not coming with discs and pads, they're £30 more.... Can anyone hazard a guess as to why?!?

P.S before the Law enforcers come along and have a bash....

I am well aware it wont make a difference etc, but the current discs look lost behind 17" of nothingness and looks, well.... a bit crap really so wanna fill the hole!

More expensive to remanufacture due to the handbrake mechanism also they are harder to come by,

312mm fronts you can use off any 5x100 car FWD & RWD, but the rears must come off a FWD car.

they're less common?

supply / demand?

Good points, didn't really think about them being harder to come across!

Any chance of a link to the 312s please? Seen a couple of refurbed sets for sale with discs and pads @ £240 & £275 from the same seller but not at £220.

If you could recommend a seller that would be great.

Cheers.

I stand corrected, he has put them up to £245.... That used to be the price for the painted setup but guess he's put his prices up, sorry dude
