Is it possible to fit puddle lights to the vRS doors instead of the reflectors? Has anyone done this?

This is something which has always bugged me about the Fabia as it seems to be standard on other models!

You could fit them but may be a pig to get the wiring through to inside the light.

It was standard on the Mk1's before the facelift between 99-04 I know it's a shame that the MK2's dont have it :(

excuse my igonarnce (and I had a mark I vRS too!) what are puddle lights?

I think maybe the lights on the door?? Or foot well lights?

Was actually thinking of the lights in the door itself which shows red/white

Shame they didn't bother to include this in the MkII

You are talking about the safety lights like this one - which to be honest looks like an easy diy to do on the MKII.

Puddle lights or wing mirror foot lights are these and can be found on the Octavia and Superb. (I don't think I've seen them on a Fabia).

These few days I've been driving my dad's Octavia and out in the country they are great. Maybe future diy??? Eh eh?
