Octy vrs decat and downpipe before or after remap?

Featured Replies

Im running a resonated jetex catback exhaust on my vrs.Just wondering will I see any gains other than a noise increase from upgrading my decat an downpipe on my already remapped car ? Or is it best to modify the decat an down pipe plus exhaust an then get a remap ?

So you already have a downpipe/decat and you want to upgrade to another one

No iv a standard downpipe and decat an I want to upgrade it to an eBay decat .. Iv already a Jetex catback fitted . An a remap done ...

Think he wants to fit one?

Confusing!

Best fit the stuff before a remap

Sent from my Galaxy S2 not a Crapple!

Get the 2.5in ebay decat with the box in it then as the 2 piece 3in one is a very tight fit getting nuts back onto turbo

Bolts can be but think he already has a decat..

regardless buddy if you have or have not a decat to fit, suggest you fit parts before mapping to get best from the performance mods and check all is running as it should..

I'm reading that it's already remapped, and he's asking it it worth mapping again once the decat is fitted.

Potentially not much will change then.... i did not get mine remapped after Decat fitting. better off just putting it on a RR.
