MFD issue and sticky door handles

Featured Replies

I am at my whits end with my MFD unit now. Worth mentioning before I start that everything worked fine when I installed it along with the plug and play adaptor. Trouble I have now still is that it doesn't power down or up with the ignition. But all radio stations are stored fine. So after some further investigation on here it would point towards a ignition wire fault. Checked the connections everything is fine. Check from headunit right to fuse box. Strangely fuse 37 I think it is had blown s-contact I think it's called. In the manual it says this is used for radio and a few other items etc. now as its an mfd do I have to do what others have done with aftermatkets and swap over the live and switch cables? If so its weird that it worked before. So having checked the cabling and replaced the 37 fuse aswell as check 42 fuse radin I am now stumped as to what else it could be.

Also is there a quick fix to sticky door handles?
