Talking about this

Its simple DIY install, it says its plug and play

I have heard it requires some 'coding' after install, anyone have any idea about it?

Going to install it in the bolero radio.

Has anyone got one of these and does it work?

What extra does this give you over and above the current BT kit I've got with my Yeti Elegance????

I've got a Belkin CarAudio Connect FM Bluetooth in mine as the "S" model only has basic audio and it works brilliantly. Simple and effective.

The standard fit audio in the Yeti range is pathetic in this day and age.

Probably none, but seeing as I DON'T have a BT kit in mine I thought it might be a cheaper option to the VW Bluetooth kits.

I can never get my head around which VW kit is best it there's that many of them  :wall:

I have one of these which works OK and will probably suffice if I'm honest.

Something that surprised me when I got mine 2 weeks ago. Someone has specified sat nav, parking sensors etc but NO bluetooth???

Should be standard on all cars these days.

Why?! I have BT in my other car because it came as part of the spec, but I would not have it if it weren't for that, and I rarely use it (more often as a novelty rather than a need). I do not miss it in my Yeti. I would not use the phone when driving, so only audio streaming would be of any use, and I can cover off my audio needs through the SD card slot as I don't hold much music on my phone.

And another, why?

My phone sits in a cradle and if it needs to be used I press one button and talk to the call; no link up required.

To me it is just another waste of money on something I don't need or want.

If you want or need it then pay for it, but don't impose an extra charge on those that don't.

Thank you :)

Totally disagree about Bluetooth being a waste of money. The cost to put it into a car will be a couple of quid. Bluetooth is used in virtually everything these days. If you don't need it, or use it, fine but you will be in the minority very quickly. Most Yeti drivers are probably in the older age groups, me included (55) but I find Bluetooth very useful. All my music is on my phone, I never use an SD card or MP3 player now. I don't need an ugly phone holder in the car, the phone is in my pocket. I don't have a hifi in the house. I stream my music via Bluetooth through speakers. I use Bluetooth in my motorcycle helmet for music, sat nav, phone, intercom, etc. One of the best things that's happened technologically in years.

Anyway, so, has anyone used one?
