getting fed up now

Featured Replies

Absolutely love my vrs but last month it has been a right pain in arse and cost me a bomb.

First turbo went without warning, got this fixed drove fine for a week and boost pipe from turbo burst.

Driving to work today and all of sudden lost power.

No other noises but exhaust blowing, not had chance to look yet but could boost pipe coming loose cause exhaust to blow if not i am guessing it could be flexi pipe as i know rest of exhaust is in good condition.

Any ideas?

Sounds like the small pipe that comes off the bottom on the egr, mine came off and lost all power and it sounded like a tractor aswel.

Get an egr delete and do away with it, its abit of a fiddle to get to

Cant see or feel any pipes come off egr. Engine struggles to start too. Think it in limp mode will get it read tonight and see what it says

Its coming up wast gate valve and egr on fault codes.

Does this mean egr has had it

Won't be a rubber pipe, methinks he meant the metal EGR pipework that sits behind the head. It attaches to the turbo exhaust manifold so it would have been disturbed/removed/reinstalled(?) when the turbo was replaced.

IMO it's either been strained and busted or it's worked its way loose.

Checked that pipe it all attached couldnt feel any leaks. Thinking about getting egr delete. I assume the blanking plate you get is for the pipe we are talking about the metal one.

But what do you do with the vacuum pipes?
