Dogbone mount . Powerflex yellow bush !

Featured Replies

Just purchased one of these on eBay for me octy vrs . The yellow bush was the one I got . Just wondering has anybody on here have the yellow bush fitted ? An how is it for everyday day to day driving

I have one fitted for about 2 years . Loads of vibration for the first few hundred miles then it settles down . But it never has went completly away .

Me and my dad have the yellow one fitted to are VRS and I love mine . You cant tell a difference when driving along as untill you put your foot down and you can feel how responsive she is , not a great deal but you can feel it . Only time I know its there really is when you turn your car on and when your idleing when youve stopped as it sounds like the exhaust is rubbing on the car .

Best , cheap little mod . Recommed to anyone who is thinking about it .

I like mine - I didn't change the circular bush, just these two and it feels spot on to me.

i got a red powerflex one on mine... vibrates a tiny bit more than OEM but deffo feels more responsive. Mines been on a good 2k+ miles. mite change it for a Superpro one tho as i heard they are softer.

I have the red one and the superpro insert!

Vibrates slightly at idle, but pickup and feel is nice :)

I have the (petrol spec 80 shore) superpro rear bushes, and the little solid front bush. It does feel very tight up front, with plenty of feel when on the move. Not terrible in terms of vibration on idle either.

Defo worth getting!!

I would imagine the softer (70 shore) diesel rear dog bone bushes would be very nice.

DON'T go for the 'race' (90 shore) set, these were like granite, far too solid!!

So, in my mechanical ignorance, I had absolutely NO clue what this thread was about.

has enlightened me a bit.

So, the benefit is better response? What exactly do you mean by that? Does the car feel quicker off the mark just because the engine is more secure??

Do you require just one rear bush, and one front bush?
