Hi all

Had my fabia vrs for 2 weeks now

Noticed that the drivers seat seems to squeak sometimes when you move in it

It's a little bit worse now with coilovers fitted as its moving more...

Anyone else had this?

Maybe wd40 will sort it?

The one in my car does too (same seat base I believe).

Give it a wiggle. If you can see the rails moving then the bolts need tightening.

If the rails don't move but the seat base does then it is likely to be a joint under the seat. I had a look and it's a riveted joint so can't be tightened so just going to grease it and hope the noise goes away.

Will take a look tonight hope it's just a bolt

From what I understand it's the springs from the height adjustment system. I was about to take the seat out to fully oil them and then it just stopped squeaking. Not really sure what triggered it to stop.
