Well after much tooing and throwing we have finally took the plunge and ordered a black VRS.

I have a few questions though so here go's.....

1: does the VRS have locking wheel nuts, are they any good and if not what ones would you recommend?

2:We were given the hardsell for GAP insurance at the dealership. But we are paying cash not finance so..............

a: Is it worth it?

b:what company offers the best deals?

3: Car seat covers any advice?

1. Standard VAG fare :( Get some McGuard ones, sure someone on here was offering a discount.

2. a. No, only useful if you are on finance (it pays the difference between the write off payment and the balance remaining on finance). B. No idea.

3. Scotchguard would be a better bet, IMHO

oh and gap doesnt work so dont bother with it

Gap is unnecessary in a car that will not suffer from negative equity at any point in it's life.

Gap Plus however is worthwhile as it enables you to buy a new car following an insurance payout.
