Highline Steering Controller

Featured Replies

I intend to fit a Multi Function Steering Wheel to my 2009 Octavia VRS Limited Edition which already has factory fitted Maxidot and cruise control.

So far I have bought a used steering wheel controller which is a highline version with part number 1K0 953 549 CD. The midline one fitted on my car is same number but ends with CQ .

Before getting the new MFSW I would like to fit and test the steering controller.

Does anyone know if the highline can be fitted and coded to work with my maxidot and cruise control even without a MFSW being present?

If it is possible does anyone know what the coding with VCDS would be?

Thanks.

Just fit it but don't code the mfsw

then when you get the mfsw fit and change the coding

Thanks for the reply Eddie.

So I just fit the highline controller and code it with the same coding that is used for the midline and it will work just fine?
