Octavia tyres

Featured Replies

Got Toyo Proxes-T1R on my Mk1 Octavia VRS and find them to be spot-on for grip and road noise.Previously had Yokahoma (can't remember which ones though) which I thought gave better grip, but were too soft and wore out too quickly.A mate has got Pirelli P-Zero on his VRS,which we've found to be as good as the Toyo Proxes-T1R for grip but are a lot noisier.I'm due some replacement rubber fairly soon and was wondering what anyone else recommends?

Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas

Hankook S1 Evos

Everything else I've used in recent years has I think been discontinued.

Had T1s myself. Good tyre, but shash in the wet and wear quickly.

Currently on the S1 Evos and they're the best I've ever bought bar Michelin Pilot Exalto 2s, which you can't buy anymore and were £130 a corner anyway!

I'm pretty happy with the T1-Rs (as you've got).
