Anyone else think the the Heating fan is far too noisy when on full blast, or even two ticks down from that, if I have it at this level then it is really intrusive. Should I take it into the dealer to check it over, or is this normal? I can only describe it a being the same sound as a Flymo lawn mower (only slightly quieter).

PS Still love the car though.

Yeah - mine gives an irregular tick or snap or crack!! A bad sound, getting less irregular all the time!!

My Octy heater has given me some problems. It was whistling every now and again. Usually when the fan is set quite high, and when its cold outside.

I have it booked in next week to get the motor replaced under warranty, apparently the bearings or something are shot. :eek: and at only 24k miles

Thanks for the replies. Although you have heating problems, it seems they are not connected to the loud humming noise which mine has when it is on maximum. I think I'll get the dealer to take a look.
