after market keyless entry 2005 TDi Estate 1.9l

Featured Replies

Hi everyone........

My particular model has key controlled central locking as standard so I am thinking of getting one of these after market keyless entry kits.. www.Rclick.co.uk do them and there are some very cheap ones on EBay, also.

Anyone have any experience of fitting these items. They do look as if they are (relatively) simple to fit? I have a wirnig instructions which includes fitting a 680 Ohm resistor in line which I am still ok with..... Apparently my car has a 'Type 6 Negative (ground driven)' type according to the very helpful, model specific info from RClick

Comments all welcome, thanks

Tom
