Bought a cable from Gendan, can't do a full scan on the VCDS Lite software downloaded from Ross Tech.

Am I missing something or do I need to purchase a Registration from Ross Tech?

I can scan the individual sections but not the whole lot?

Hi

No you are not missing anything, you cant do a autoscan with the unregistered version, but as you say you can quikly check for codes by going to individual modules.

Is it worth registering, it gives you the ability to do output tests, and change coding if required, but will only work on one laptop ???

You need the full version. ;)
